In some instances, boilers stop working due to electrical supply issues. The supply to the boiler may have been interrupted or switched off. If you recently had a power cut, it’s possible your appliance or timer simply needs resetting. Some boilers have a ‘soft’ reset functionality that simply enables you to switch the boiler off and on again, restoring it to full working order.

However, there are many more serious reasons why a boiler can stop functioning. If it’s a gas-related defect our engineers can check and test your gas supply. If you have any other gas-powered appliances that aren’t working too, it’s a sure-fire sign that there’s a problem with your supply.
