New Air Conditioning System
Huttie were appointed to carry out the installation of 6 x new Samsung split air conditioning systems throughout the rehearsal and costume rooms used to film The Crown.
Being such a prestigious location, not to mention the show itself, the Huttie team were delighted to be appointed to undertake this project and were focused on providing a top-quality finished product which would serve the venue well in the years to come. The existing infrastructure was extremely dated and so the Huttie design team proposed a modern installation to best serve the vast size of the rooms as efficiently and effectively as possible.
The installation involved:
- 6 x new indoor 360 cassette units
- 3 x new outdoor units
- Individual hard-wired controllers for each system
We worked with management at Elstree to design a bespoke system to suit their specific needs which involved 360 indoor units within the ceiling space to provide maximum airflow to each area of the rooms.
Delivered whilst the programme’s production team were still filming, there was a strict deadline to ensure the film and costume crews were not disrupted and delays caused to one of the biggest shows on television.
