RPZ Valve Testing

At Huttie our engineers are fully-accredited to test reduced pressure zone (RPZ) valves and can work efficiently to ensure you property’s RPZ valves are working effectively for your water system.

An RPZ valve is used to avoid pollination of water and works by protecting against backflow and avoiding contamination of the mains cold water system. RPZ valves are most commonly used for premises such as swimming pools, launderettes, and food processing plants, but are equally valid for all types of commercial businesses.

All RPZ valves should be tested annually by an accredited tester. We can undertake periodic checks on your valves to prevent the backflow of fluid from connections between potable and non-potable water supplies.
